Pro-Adjuster

The Pro-Adjuster, developed and patented by Dr. Maurice Piscoitanno, is the most advanced chiropractic analysis and treatment instrument in existence today. This technological marvel can be used to help you return to a healthier lifestyle.

Using the Pro-Adjuster’s sophisticated computer analysis Dr. Bulmash is able to pinpoint the exact areas of subluxation present. This information is charted graphically on a computer monitor, allowing Dr. Bulmash to detect the problem areas on each and every visit. Once the areas of subluxation are identified, a gentle, effective treatment to that specific site is performed by applying the Pro-Adjuster’s Resonant Force Impulse. This will relieve the pressure on the nerve, allow the nerve to heal, and restore the nerve’s ability to transmit signals to the brain more freely. And, it will help relieve the pain.

The Pro-Adjuster is ideal for those who cannot tolerate traditional adjustments or who have special considerations.

The cost of a chiropractic adjustment may range from $35-50 for children and seniors, to $75 and up for teens and adults. Fees are based upon the complexity of the case and the amount of time needed to resolve the issue.

Manual Adjustments

There are a variety of techniques now in use by chiropractors to aid in the adjustment of their patients. However, the original method developed by Dr. D. D. Palmer is the manual adjustment.

A manual adjustment is typically performed on a special chiropractic table manual_adjustment.jpgand relief is often noticeable immediately. Chiropractic adjustments often take between 10-15 minutes, but can be longer if there is a significant amount of soft tissue (i.e. tendon, ligament or muscular) constriction. Longer adjustments can range from 20-45 minutes, and often incorporate a combination of other therapies which help reduce the tension in the soft tissues.

A manual adjustment consists of a firm, yet gentle, corrective movement of the neck, mid or lower back. A corrective mobilization is used to rectify an extremity (i.e., rib, shoulder, wrist, elbow, hip, knee, or ankle) which is fixated. Manual adjustments, when performed correctly, allow a degree of finesse not usually found with any technological device, such as activator.

At Health Matters, Dr. Bulmash often uses a combination of both manual and Pro-Adjuster techniques to resolve any subluxation pattern. An adjustment at our office is literally from “head to toe.”
